My mom and sister were out at 3am for the Black Friday deals, but they still didn't get the items they wanted at Best Buy because the line started forming at 6am Thursday morning, and there were hundreds of people in line in front of them! I opted to meet them for lunch instead. The bargain shoppers on the day after Thanksgiving scare me a little--okay, a lot--and I'd rather buy something at a good discount on a normal day, or online, than stand in line in 20°F weather for a huge discount . However, I had a gift card left over from my birthday, so at a reasonable hour after breakfast I did a little shopping and found two pretty shirts for 40% off. That's worth a full night's sleep and breakfast and coffee while warm at home.

Very clever. Good deal!
I have to say I skipped Black Friday, I hate the sales (or rather I hate the crowds at the sales). Well done on your bargins.
Lane, me neither! I like the good deals with no suffering attached.
JJ, I may elbow too if the scary bargain hunters get too aggressive.
Alfaking, thank you. I was proud of myself.
Alix, the crowds on Black Friday are mad! I prefer my normal bargains with no middle of the night queuing.
