Writing Stupor

After two days of no writing, I found myself in a bit of a writing stupor this afternoon. Before I knew it, I had completed my goal of two days worth of writing. I absolutely love those days. I wish I could engineer them every time I sit to write, but more often I look up every few lines and hope I'm further along than I really am. Today didn't start off so promising though. Yesterday I had a nasty migraine, which derailed my writing, and this morning I woke without the migraine itself, but with the migraine 'hangover'. Then at the beginning of my writing session, three of my favorite pens ran out of ink. I couldn't find another pen and the words were ready to flow, so I resorted to the checkbook pen, which actually turned out to be a mighty fine writing pen. Tomorrow I must pick up more pens at the store!

Oh I recognise that! The wrong pen? The wrong coloured ink? The wrong nib? They're all fine reasons to stop me writing!

Sorry about the migraine. The after effects are almost as bad aren't they? I feel fuzzy headed for ages.

New pens always help though:-)

Ooh! Sounds like a trip to Borders or Paper Source is in your immediate future. Enjoy! :-)

JJ, isn't it frustrating how something so small can derail writing. I was lucky that last pen worked, I can't be switching colors mid-page!

Lane, the after effects are nearly as bad, plus if you're not careful they can develop into a migraine. I feel fuzzy and medicated too.
Hurrah for new pens!

Kristen, I wish, but I'm thinking the drugstore will have to do. Ah well, I'll pretend.

Sounds like you got lots done despite the pen mishap!

{{{Angie}}}Well done you for keeping on writing. I often run out of pens, but this week my excuse was running out of ink in my printer cartridge and having bought the wrong replacement one.

Migraines are really infuriating, sorry you suffer from them too.

Alix, it was an exceptionally productive day, which I was happy about. New pens have been bought to thwart any further problems. ;)

Hullaballoo, thank you. Buying replacement cartridges is such a pain. My last one kept smudging on the paper.
Are you a fellow migraneur? They are a pain (pun intended).
