Note to self...

In the future, don't edit the intimate scenes at public coffeeshops!

Yesterday I spent a few of my holiday hours working on the novel revisions. Somehow I didn't realize just what chapter I was on, until I was stuck there, peeking over my shoulder every five seconds to make sure know one could read my writing! So embarrassing. Although, it did increase my editing speed immensely! *giggles*

Do you ever find yourself looking over your shoulder when you read or write romantic scenes?

OH NO! I've not done that but I've cried over a scene in Starbucks. That was quite embarrassing.

Angie, there's an award over at mine for you.

JJ, ah man, I thought I replied to your first comment. Sorry!
That would be embarrassing too. Must be a good scene though if it brought you to tears! :)

Thanks for the award! I'm off to check it out. xx

I've never written in a public space so have never had this problem!

I haven't visited for a while and was SURE you would have some submission news by now...you must almost be ready???? :)

(and I love that pretty blue fleece your husband bought you a while back!)

Ah, Rebecca, you caught me out! *cringes* I haven't started submitting yet. I have written my query letter (yay!), but I'm finishing a few last revisions on the novel before I submit. Perfectionist to the end, but so nearly there. ;)

No coffeeshop writing for you?
And thanks, I do love my new fleece!

Romance? What would I know about that? - I'm a man.
Thanks for an interesting, insightful, and amusing post.

All the best, Boonsong

Boonsong, thanks for stopping by...and for the laugh. Men know about romance, right? RIGHT? :)
