Bloody 'ell! I. AM. FREEZING! Stupid water was turned off most of this morning without warning (well not off all the way, but there was no water pressure). When it came back on I was finally able to take my shower, but unfortunately I didn't check to see if the hot water was on so I just froze my arse off in the shower. Good thing the husband wasn't around to hear the "Eeeeeeeeeeee! Balls! F*&%! Bollocks! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" coming from the shower. Drew was a bit startled though. Come on tea kettle, boil! Incidentally I have popsicle hands and feet at all temperatures below 80 degrees, so excuse me while I gulp a cuppa tea to increase my temperature back to 'normal'.

That's the kind of problem we got over here last year during the drought period. There were unannounced water cut-offs and the taps remained dry for several days. This caused some revolt at several places, fire, road blocks and the like.
Fortunately this year seems more humid and we pray not to have to live that moment again.

Oh dear, I feel silly for complaining now since it was just a bit of temporary cold water. No revolts, etc. Hopefully you'll avoid a drought this year.
