Hmm, I think I solved the mystery of the cramping calf. When I get into my work/reading/whatever I stop paying attention to my body posture, and I just became aware of the fact that I was crossing my left leg over my right leg, whilst (Ah, always wanted to use that on here -'merican girls don't get to use whilst without being laughed at. Ahem, anyway...) balancing my right leg on my toes, and thus flexing my calf for god knows how long at a time. Only noticed because the calf started aching again. *sigh* I am special.

Hey I think you might be onto something there...

Just to let you know that I've nominated you for a Rockin' Girl Blogger award. I know, another meme, but at least you get an award out of it!

Body posture is important, otherwise you might start having musculoskeletal problems with long hours of uninterrupted work with VDU workstation.

I hope to come up with a post some time on this issue of ergonomics.

A 10-minute break each hour is recommended, just to work your muscles, arm, leg, eyes...

Thanks so much, hellojed! That is so sweet. Off to nominate my own...

Alfaking, I know, I really need to pay more attention to my posture while I'm working. At my old job we had to watch a video on ergonomics, I just don't pay attention when I get into my work.
