I'm going to do something rash.
It's an experiment.
In an attempt to increase productivity.
I'm going to turn of t'internet (for a few hours).
It's for my own good, you know.
But it's scary.
What if I get an important email? Or a blogfriend leaves a nice comment, or, or I miss important breaking news?
Even so, the writing must be done.
And, you know, I can turn it back on in a few.

How did you get on? I'll have to try that experiment sometime. But reading blogs is so interesting!!
You're a braver woman than I am... ;-)
OH. MY. GOD. Angie, you are one brave woman... I can't do that...

;-)
my goodness. be careful Angie, you could get a habit or something... or...oh my gosh...you could actually get some (gulp!) writing done.
Then where would you be?
A.Writer, I did get quite a good chunk of work done. That's the problem, they're too interesting and I don't get as much work done as I should! :)
Kristen, *obviously*. Hehe. j/k ;)
JJ, It is becoming absolutely necessary, I'm afraid. Every time my email alerts me of a new message, I do the rounds online. Not good.
Rebecca, darling, you enticed me to do this with your post about how blogging affects writing! I'll try not to get too addicted to this no internet idea. I can survive (I hope) just a few hours a day without it. ;)

Fair play Angie! Good luck with the writing!
Thanks, hellojed, and big huge congrats on finishing your novel! I'm looking to you as inspiration to keep powering through mine, though somewhat more slowly. :)
