Of Squirrels and Crazy Dogs

A loud noise banged against our sliding glass door minutes ago, scaring Drew and I, until I opened the blinds to discover that a squirrel jumped onto the screen. Drew is jumping at the window, whining, trying to figure out how to get that darn squirrel, but even with his yelping and me banging on the glass, the stupid squirrel won't leave. I even opened the door a smidgen, being careful not to let Drew out, and shook the screen door, but the squirrel just changed positions. I think he's taunting the dog because now he is just hanging there, staring at the roof, and no manner of dog whining, bouncing, or me banging the glass will get him to move. Drew is now next to me on the couch, shaking in anticipation. Poor thing, he doesn't know he's not getting that squirrel.

Here are the promised pictures:
(So one is sideways, and I cannot seem to change that, so just cock your head slightly, please, and ignore my picture-turning ignorance. Thanks. I particularly love the two of him in mid-air trying to get the squirrel through the glass, though they are blurry because he was jumping. Oh, and the one with his crazy smile, where he's staring at the squirrel trying to figure out how to get to it.)

Angie (I'm sorry firstly because the sideways comment last time was mine...) The bottom left pic of Drew had me laughing out loud. He's a very springy dog, isn't he?

JJ, No problem. :) (It's something to do with my mac, I can do it on the PC.)
He is very springy and bouncy. We bought a 3-ft gate to contain him when we leave, and he immediately jumped it.
