Early bird gets the...

Worm? Indeed. I was dreading my 7:15am appointment this morning. I'm not what you would call a morning person. 8:00 - I'm good, 7:00 - not so much, but getting up at 6:30 kills me. My stomach hurts, I'm wobbly and clumsy (okay nothing new there), and I move slowly. I tried to schedule another time, but it was the only available appointment for a month, so I bit the bullet. Unfortunately, when I arrived--on time I might add--the doors were locked, the lights were off, and no one was there. Pfft. I called the phone number and the answering message said their hours are 9-7. WTF? Either my appointment was scheduled 2 hours before opening, or just after closing. I'm sure the woman said 'am' when I scheduled, so I was peeved, but there wasn't anything I could do. I went to breakfast, wrote my words for the day, ran my errands, and was home by 11am. I see why people like getting things done in the morning! I just wish I didn't have to plan days in advance in order to make it work. I taped my morning Charmed, so I'm going to go snuggle on the couch for lunch and watch it. I mailed off five Christmas packages yesterday, so I'm all set to relax the next two weeks (right). Now I just have to remember my 7:15pm appointment after dinner.

Oh, that just bites the big one. I'm sorry. You should give the woman who made your appointment a good, stern talking-to.

Of course, the bright side is that you got tons done this morning and can now sit back and relax for the remainder of the day. Enjoy!

Oooh, interesting what you're like in the early morning. I'm just the same in the evening!

Oh no that is rubbish, but at least you got lots done. I got up at 5.45 for 3 years for a 7.40am start - never again it just kills me.

lol! I'd rather have a 7am than 7pm appointment. I'm usually up at 6 or earlier. I tend to crash and burn by early afternoon though:-)

Hope the woman got the actual day right:-)

Kristen, I wish I could have, but I'm a wuss. :( It was nice to get so much done so early!

JJ, I'm definitely a night owl. It's funny how different people are in the morning and night, isn't it?

Alix, 5.45? That would be my nightmare! Ugh.

Lane, I like to be up at a sensible time, but it's happily closer to 7:30 now that I work at home...used to commute and get up at 6:30 and I hated morning because I can't seem to make myself go to bed early enough.
Luckily it was the right day! ;)
