My focus has gone a bit awry what with my upcoming trip planning. I try to turn off the planning mode in my mind during work hours, but I seem to have lost control of it.
Looking at my calendar, I noticed Daylight Saving Time falls on the Sunday while I'm there. However, in my dayplanner it says "not officially confirmed" because the US only recently changed the day DST falls on. Luckily I did a little research online, because I found that although it falls on March 9th in the US this year, the EU follows a different system, so it falls on March 30th there. Sheesh. Good thing I'm not flying on the 9th, just to be on the safe side.
I also wanted to apologize for not making the blog rounds much lately. Between trip planning, trying to keep up with my word count, and visiting with friends and family, I can't seem to keep everything straight. My mom made a last minute visit this weekend, so I spent a lot of time with her. She's in California for her first business trip, so I was excited for her. Also, blogging may be light and sporadic the next few weeks. I'll try to update before I leave and I may pop in with a blog-abroad (oo la la!), but I can't make any promises. Cheers!
