Bleh

I have nothing to post about today, and since my primary readers are traveling I really have no one to entertain anyway. Ah, but I said I'd attempt to post every day--weekday that is--so here I am getting my post in before (poof!) midnight strikes. Hmm...I can't even comment on my normal Thursday comedy night TVfest because Earl wasn't on, there were two Office repeats, and no 30Rock or ER. Scrubs was new, but I didn't pay attention because I was working. What a titillating life I do lead. My writing? Just about as interesting today. Still painfully, excruciatingly working my way through chapter one. I'm liking the work I'm doing, but I'm literally working slowly sentence by sentence, word by bloody word. The whole novel won't (fingers crossed) be like this, but I fine-tuned this chapter ages ago and realized it needed more description, setting, etc, etc., so I'm going back and inserting it where appropriate, but that means I have to evaluate each insertion and every sentence around it carefully to make sure it still flows. Good times had by me.

All right, I've posted, and now I'm off to edit a few more sentences before I head to bed. Cheerio!
