Words worth hours

I worked on a few sentences for hours yesterday trying to perfect them. Two or three sentences turned into ten, and along the way I realized two of my facts were wrong, so I had to stop to research further and then I continued tweaking the sentences until finally I got them right. Hours of work. Ten sentences completed. And that my friends is the joy of writing, but damn it, they were ten brilliant sentences. (I hope.)

Can't wait to read them! I wish I was as quality conscious as you - I know my sloppiness is going to break my heart when I'm editing!

Ah thanks, hellojed. I really hope they were worth the effort. Your speed amazes me. I can't seem to write through the first draft without stopping to edit. By the time I'm done, I'm hoping for a second draft!

Alfaking, still struggling along slowly, sentence by sentence.

Rebecca, the morning after letdown is the worst.
