Today was lattes and scones by the White House, the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, and a trip 500 feet up to the observation deck of the Washington Monument to watch the sun set over Virginia.

sounds like your having fun, I must go up the Washington memorial but I'm a bit scared of heights and enclosed spaces!
Sounds absolutely wonderful. Looking forward to my next vicarious DC adventure via your next post. :-)
Sounds lovely:-)
Am also interested to hear about the museum.
Alix, the height shouldn't be an issue there since you're inside and only looking out of small windows, but the elevator is packed on the way up, so that might be a problem. You could take 500 ft of stairs instead! ;)
Kris, thanks. It was a good trip. Can't wait to share more.
Lane, I am planning a post on the Holocaust Museum in particular because it's related to my research so I was very eager to see it. It didn't disappoint.
