Sunshine, flowers, and cool crisp air combine to create a (northern) California Christmas.

As if I'm not homesick enough... Pretty pictures. Sigh.

Oh gawd, Angie, 'cool, crisp air' how I long for that. Lovely pictures, honey, thank you.

(You said over on Caroline's you're wobbling - you okay?)

Don't worry, Kris, it's black skies, wind and rain now, and it's supposed to hang around through the weekend, so you're not missing out on much! Hope the trip back was okay.

JJ, your sunny beaches sound nice right about now...always greener, huh? ;)
I'm okay. Thanks for asking. I'm having a similar problem - writing about a place I'm not 100% familiar with and worrying about possibly making the trip. Plus, I've been in one of those funks where every paragraph I write sounds like crap...nothing new there though. I always wondered if it would get easier if I were ever published, but then the published authors seem to have these wobbles too, so I guess I better get used to this!

What pictures! All I can see here today is mud and fog. *sigh*

Hi Angie, sorry you are having a wobble. Hope it soon passes. Great pictures, by the way. It's baltic here in Edinburgh, so I am very jealous lol.

Happy New Year, hon.

Glad you like them, Lane. As for the lovely weather - it's gone and we've caught up to you. We're having wind and flood warnings through the weekend. I do hope dear Drew can hold potty breaks to once a day...unreasonable?

Oh, my comment just crossed yours, Hullaballoo. Thanks for the encouragement, and don't be too jealous as I just told Lane, we're drowning here. I'm just hoping the power won't go out as it already has across the bay area. If I'm shut in, I need some electricity!
